Education: Bachelors of Arts degree in business from Shippensburg University; Masters of Liberal Arts degree from Temple University; extensive course work and training in real estate and mortgage finance.
Work experience: 24 years in the real estate and housing sector; construction oversight for an REIT; Manager of the residential mortgage lending program for a major regional commercial bank; and for the last eleven years, credit analyst and risk manager for FannieMae (the world's largest investor in residential mortgage loans and mortgage-backed securities).
Public interest activities: Served on the board of advisers of Allegheny West (Neighborhood Housing Services) in Philadelphia; serve on the faculity and as trustee of the Henry George School.
Initiatives: Developed guidelines for use by community land trusts of a "scattered site" approach to affordable housing on leased land.
